China filed a lawsuit against the WTO on Tuesday, accusing the United States of improper anti-dumping measures against diamond saw blades imported from China.

The United States imposes a high anti-dumping tax on the above-mentioned products imported from China to the United States, saying that the prices of these products have been artificially suppressed to suppress US competitors.

In this case, China sued the United States for adopting a “return to zero” approach. “Return to zero” is a way to estimate the damage caused by dumping and violates WTO rules.

If the United States loses in this case, more countries may resort to the WTO for its anti-dumping measures.
