Diamond tool concept
Refers to diamond granular sand and micro-powder as cutting material, with the help of bonding agent or other auxiliary materials made of a certain shape, performance and use of the product.
Diamond Tools are divided into conventional products and special products. Conventional products are mainly used for general dressing of grinding wheels. Special products are used for high-precision shaping and one-time dressing of grinding wheels.
Because of the extremely high hardness of the diamond tools, the cutters use high temperature and pressure to make diamond particles that can be used on sandpaper, drilling, and grinding tools to cut and characterize other materials.
Classification of diamond tools
(1) Abrasive Tools
Including bonded abrasives, coated abrasives and loose abrasives, such as grinding wheels, sand tiles, honed grinding stones, special-shaped grinding heads, diamond abrasive belts, fine abrasive tablets, abrasive pastes, etc.
(2) Sawing tools
Divided into two categories: one is sawing granite, marble, circular data for concrete, band saws, row saws, wire saws, etc.; the other is cutting internal and external semi-circular cutting blades and metal materials.
(3) Drilling tools
Including geology, petroleum, coal, metallurgy and other departments of exploration and development of the drill, reamer, and construction drilling.
(4) Cutting tool
Diamond polycrystalline compacts or natural large single crystals made of turning tools, boring tools, and milling cutters are used for finishing non-ferrous metal parts on automobiles, airplanes, precision machinery, and non-metal materials such as plastics and ceramics.
(5) Dressing tools
Molding trimming rollers, correction pens, trimming blocks.
(6) Drawing Die
The polycrystalline diamond is made into a drawing die, and various metal filaments such as wire, filament, and screen wire are drawn.
(7) Other tools
Daggers, glass knives, engraving knives, nesting knives, assorted files, measuring probes, bearings, needles, diamond scalpels, etc.
(8) Special Instrument Components
Hardness tester indenter, surface roughness test probe, high pressure chamber anvil, internal combustion engine nozzle, high power transistor, infrared window, microwave, laser, large-scale integrated circuit in the diamond heat sink components, resistance thermometer.
